Research Associate Agricultural Economics job recruitment in Directorate
of Weed Research (DWR-ICAR)
Scheme: “Intellectual Property Management & Transfer/Commercialization of Agricultural Technology (Up scaling of existing component i.e. Intellectural Property Right (IPR)”
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Agricultural Economics/Economics / Agricultural Extension/ Agronomy in course work system OR Post graduation in Agricultural Economics/ Economics / Agricultural Extension/ Agronomy with 2 years research experience and minimum 60% marks in Post graduation.
Desirable Qualification: Knowledge and experience of impact analysis and report writing, and working knowledge of computer application including MS word, excel and advanced statistical software like SAS, SPSS. Preference would be given to Ph. D./M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics/ Economics
Emoluments : Master Degree Holders Rs. 38,000/- per month + HRA per head (as per Central Govt. norms) Doctoral Degree Holders Rs. 40,000/- per month + HRA per head (as per Central Govt. norms)

The Directorate of Weed Research, Jabalpur
and the Zonal Project Directorate, Zone VII, Jabalpur jointly organized
a Training-cum-Workshop on Weed Management during 19-20 May, 2015 for
the scientists of Krishi Vigyan Kendras from Madhya Pradesh,
Chhattisgarh and Odisha. The inaugural programme was chaired by Dr.
A.R. Sharma, Director, DWSR. In his introductory remarks Dr. Sharma
gave an overview of the Directorate’s activities for strengthening weed
management through on farm research and organizing training/awareness
programmes. The entire programme was organized and coordinated by Dr.
P.K. Singh Principal Scientist, DWR and Dr. A. P. Dwivedi, Sr.
Scientist, ZPD, Zone-VII, Jabalpur.
