Research Associate Agricultural job recruitment in Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR).

Name of the Project Scheme : National Agricultural Innovation Fund (NAIF)

Essential Qualification : Ph.D in any discipline of Agricultural/Life Sciences. Or Master degree/ M.Tech in any branch of Agricultural Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology with 4/5 years Bachelor's degree in the above subjects having First Division or 60 % marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience. Or Three years Bachelor degree and two years of Master degree in the above subjects having First Division or 60 % marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with NET and at least two years of research experience.

Desirable Qualification : (i) Diploma in IPR/Two Year's experience in IP management with experience on patent search assessment, formulation, filing, drafting of patents/IPRs, development of feasibility report in commercialization of technologies. (ii) Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Laws along with Protection and commercialization of technologies, work experience in Patent Search Operation and filing. (iii) Proficiency in computer operation. co-terminus with the project.

Emoluments : i)Rs.38000/- Fixed plus 20% HRA per month for Masters Degree holder as per rules,ii) Rs.40000/- Fixed plus 20% HRA per month for doctoral Degree holder as per rules

Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR), Lucknow was established in 1952 by the erstwhile Indian Central Sugarcane Committee for conducting researches on fundamental and applied aspects of sugarcane culture as well as to co-ordinate the research work done on this crop in different States of the country. The Government of India took over the Institute from the Indian Central Sugarcane Committee on 1st January, 1954. On April 1, 1969, it was transferred to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi alongwith other central agricultural research institutes.
