Qualification  :  Ph.D. in Earthquake Geology/Seismology/Geotectonic & Earthquake Engineering. M.Sc. in Geology/Applied Geology/Earth Sciences/ Physics Geophysics/Seismology with at least 55% marks. At least ONE research paper published in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.

Desirable :  Field & Research experience on geo-scientific study of earthquake hazards, vulnerability and risk assessment in Himalayan regions. Working knowledge of computers, geological mapping, geotectonic borehole logging and RS&GIS modeling.

Fellowship : Rs.36,000+HRA  

Age Limit : Maximum 28 years

Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  M.Sc. /M.Tech. in Applied Geology/ Geology/ Earth Sciences/ Geophysics/ Seismology/ Geoinformatics/ Geotectonic & earthquake engineering with at least 55% of marks. Candidates with experience in geological mapping, geophysical borehole logging, geospatial modeling, geotechnical survey shall be given preference.

Fellowship : Rs.25,000+HRA (NET qualified) Rs.12,000+HRA (Non-NET qualified)
