Research Associate/ Field Assistants/Field Assistants recruitment in Indian Agricultural Research Institute
1. Research Associate -II
(DBT Project: ‘SiteDirected Mutagenesis of Low-Affinity Nitrate Transporter Gene for Improving Nitrogen Efficiency in Aerobic Rice’; Duration- Dec 2019- Dec 2024)

Pay Scale : Rs. 49,000 + 24% HRA p.m. (the remuneration of RA will be based on the qualification and experience)
Eligibility as per guidelines mentioned in Department of Science & Technology OM No. SB/S9/Z-06/2019 dtd. 23-04-2019
Essential: 1) Ph.D. degree or having 3 years of research experience after M.Sc. in any of the discipline Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology/ Botany (physiology specialization).
2) Desirable: Experience in working with field crops, handling instruments like root imaging, tissue nutrient analysis; data analysis and interpretation, report writing. Research experience as evident from published papers in standard referred journals with Impact Factor.
2. Junior Research Fellows
(one position each in above-mentioned DBT project, and the DBT-Twining project'Candidate gene association mapping for tolerance to iron toxicity and low phosphorus stress in rice')

Desirable: Experience in working with field crops, hydroponics, data analysis and interpretation, report writing. Expertise in MS-Office.

Age limit: Maximum age is 32 and 35 years for JRF and RA, respectively (age relaxation of five years for SC/ST & women and three years for OBC). Upper age limit for field assistant is 35 years.
