Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) invites application for the position Research Associate I
Number of Posts: One
Essential Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. in Earth Sciences with minimum one first author papers in international peer-reviewed journal having an Impact Factor greater than 5.0
Desirable:
a) The candidate should have more than 5 years of experience working in a clean geochemistry lab.
b) The candidate should be able to independently operate mass spectrometers such as ICP-MS.
c) The project requires extensive field work in high latitude Himalayas (greater than 4000 m), so the candidate should have prior experience working in higher Himalayas
d) The project work requires fieldwork (60 days in a year) and the candidate should be ready to travel.
Consolidated Salary: Rs. 47,000/-
