Research Associate - I

Name of the Project : DBT -Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF)

Qualification  :  Ph.D or equivalent degree in Bio-medical Science/ Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/Bio-chemistry/ Microbiology/ Computational Biology or having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/ M.Pharm/ M.Tech in following subject Bio-medical Science/Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/Bio-chemistry/Microbiology/ Computational Biology with at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal .

Emoluments : Rs.36,000/- +10% HRA P.M.

Age Limit :  The upper age limit for Research Associate is 40 years for men and 45 years for women as on the date of interview. Age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST and 3 years in case of OBC.

Qualification :

For Studentships the applicants must be pursuing Master degree/Diploma in Bioinformatics/Biomedical sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life sciences/ Biochemistry with a programme in Bioinformatics. The applicants must forward their application through their Head of the Department. Duration of the studentships is 6 months. Mode of application: Filled in application form along with project proposal.

For Traineeships candidates who have completed in their M.Sc/Diploma in Bioinformatics/ Biomedical sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life sciences/ Biochemistry with a programme in Bioinformatics.

Emoluments :  The Studentships and Traineeships carry a consolidated stipend/ fellowship of Rs.10000/-P.M.

Young Professional-II

Name of the Project :  'Elucidating therapeutic role of bactriophages and encoded endolysins against multidrug resistant enteric pathogens of poultry'
