Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA) invites application for the position Research Associate
No. of Position: One
Qualification : Ph.D degree in Astrophysics/Cosmology. Candidate should have research experience in the field of Dark matter cosmology, cosmological data analysis with various cosmological data.
Duration: Initially the position will be till Feb 2022 with possible extension for more than one to two years depending on funding from DST.
Emoluments: RA-1: Rs. 47,000/- + admissible HRA for fresh Ph.D RA-2: Rs. 49,000/- + admissible HRA for those with a minimum of 1-2 years of post-doctoral experience. RA-3: Rs. 54,000/- + admissible HRA for those with more than two years experience. HRA rates applicable to Bangalore City.

Job description: This is a project based RA position and selected RA should work for project related to dark matter cosmology, astro-particle physics and its close connection to CMB and the large scale structure data under Dr. Subinoy Das.
