Applications are invited for the position of Research Associate (one number) under the
time bound Emeritus Scheme entitled “Development of an optimized stable lignolytic enzyme
complex effective in enhancing the digestibility of paddy and finger millet straws”.

3 Essential Qualification Ph.D (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry) from a recognized
University
OR
M.Sc. (Biochemistry/ Biotechnology, Microbiology)-NET qualification
is essential for candidates with three years of Bachelor’s degree and
two years Master’s degree (or) with at least three years of Research
experience as evidenced from Fellowship / Associateship / Training
with relevant publications in Science Citation Index.
M.Tech (Biotechnology), Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with
4/5 years of Bachelor’s Degree having 1st Division of 60 percent marks
or equivalent OGP.
Desirable: Knowledge and Practical experience in Basic Microbiology
/ Microbial Techniques. Enzymes Purification & Assay. Enzyme
immobilization/Biochemical Techniques / Bioinformatics. Report
writing, Statistical Analysis / Computer Operations.
Remuneration Rs. 49,000 + HRA per month for Master’s degree holders and
Rs. 54,000/- per month plus HRA for Ph.D. degree holders (if
accommodation is not provided).
