Job Description
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for the Research Associate-I position in the School of Physical Sciences, Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India.
Research Associate - I (RA-1)
Number of post : One (01)
Fellowship : As per rules of the Institute.
Duration: Initial appointment for one year and may be extended further depending on the performance.
Minimum qualification: PhD degree in experimental physics. Candidates who have submitted the thesis and awaiting award of degree may also apply. Candidate must produce a letter from competent authority stating that the thesis has been submitted and the final viva/defense is pending.
Desirable expertise: Candidates with experience in experimental condensed matter physics at low temperature and/or electron/spin transport in nanostructures/devices, disordered materials will be highly preferred.
