Research Associate (DBT-TERI Center of Excellence) Job Opportunity in TERI University
Qualification: A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related discipline with process engineering skills. Experience: 0-3 years
(or) A Master-s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related discipline with process engineering skills. Experience: 2-4 years (or) A Bachelor-s degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related discipline with process engineering skills.
Skills: Experience with algal processing or biofuel process activities preferred. The candidate is expected to have good oral and writing communication skills. The Selected RA will work in the DBT-TERI Center of Excellence project
Experience: 3 - 5 years
Job Profile: The job entails coordinating the setting up of a 100,000 L algal growth system and related harvest system and downstream operations. The candidate would perform cultivation experiments and downstream processing of harvested algae. Duties would also include select lab analysis of harvested algae and maintenance of algal cultures. The candidate would document the operations and results of the outdoor algal production and processing facility and work with the Principal Investigator on deducing inferences and the course of demonstration facility runs during the project time.
