Minimum educational
Qualification
Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics with a strong background in
quantum information and computation.
Candidates who have submitted thesis may also apply.
Preference Candidates having their Ph.D. in quantum information and
computation, quantum dynamics, quantum chaos, BoseEinstein condensates and related areas with good
experience in both analytical and non-trivial numerical
computations will be preferred.
Consolidated emoluments 1) Rs. 47,000/- + 24% HRA to Rs. 54,000/- + 24% HRA
per month depending upon the experience
2) Candidates who have submitted their thesis but not
completed defence (i.e. candidates without a provisional
certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be
designated as Senior Research Fellow (SRF) and paid
Rs. 35,000/- + 24% HRA per month till the time of
submission of Provisional Ph.D. certificate.
