Project Title  : Climate Change Impacts Studies for Rajasthan (Areas of Inland Drainage and Mahi Basin)

Qualification  :  PhD in Water Resources/ Hydrometeorology/ Environmental Science/ Climate Change/ Remote Sensing. Good academic record with at least one publication in reputed SCI journal

Desirable :  Experience of GIS tools, Statistical packages for trend analysis. Strong analytical and computational skills related to spatial and temporal analysis in the water resources. Documentation work and preparation

Monthly Fellowship :  Rs. 36000 to Rs. 40000 + applicable allowances (Based on experience and university rules)

Junior Research Fellow

Project Title :  Climate Change Impacts Studies for Rajasthan (Areas of Inland Drainage and Mahi Basin)

Department : Environmental Science

Qualification  :  i) ME/MTech in Water Resources Engineering / Remote Sensing / Environmental Engg. (minimum 55% and GATE) OR ii) M.Sc. in Environmental Science (minimum 55%) with NET qualified

Desirable :  To carry out the research work in the field of water resources, hydrometeorology and trend analysis. Experience of ArcGIS, Statistical packages. Experience of working on datasets related to meteorology, hydrology, statistical methods and tools etc.  Documentation work and preparation

Monthly Fellowship :  Rs. 25,000/- (for NET qualified)/ Rs. 16,000/- (for non-NET) + applicable allowances (as per rules)

Age Limit :  28 years (to be relaxed for exceptional candidates)
