Research Associate 

Nature of duties / Project :  NMSHE Task Force 05 project entitled “Network Programme on Convergence of Traditional Knowledge System for Sustainable Development in the Indian Himalayan Region” (Co-PI: Mrs. Sarla Shashni )

Qualification  :  Ph.D. with first class Master Degree in Botany/Environmental Sciences/Forestry from recognized University with research publication.

Desirable :  Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in indigenous knowledge system and related fields in the Himalayan region.

Emoluments : Rs. 36,000/- + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA fixed

Age Limit :  35 years

Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Junior Project Fellow (JPF)

Nature of duties / Project :  NMHS Fellow Project 'Hydrological monitoring and modeling, household survey, modeling and statistical applications and implementation of interventions to strengthen the institutional In-house project' (PI: Er. V.E. Gosavi)

Qualification  :  First class Master Degree (M.Sc./M. Tech. /M.E./ other relevant) in Civil Engineering / Earth Sciences/Physical Sciences/ Water Resources/Agriculture/ Agri. Engineering/ Hydrology/ Soil & Water Conservation/ GeoInformatics/ Geology/Remote Sensing & GIS/ Environmental Engineering or Science /other equivalent subject area

Desirable :  Preference will be given to the candidates having experience/ knowledge of Watershed Management, Hydrological Simulation Modeling for rainfallrunoff, SWAT/ WEAP or similar hydrological models/ Remote Sensing & GIS/ Water Resource Assessment/ Computer Programming etc.

Emoluments : 

Junior Research Fellow :- Rs. 25,000 + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA (NET - JRF/GATE qualified)

Junior Project Fellow :- Rs. 16,000/- + Rs. 1,800/- HRA or 8% HRA fixed)

Age Limit : 28 years
