Project Title  :   “Rejuvenation of springs and spring-fed streams in Mid-Himalayan Basins using spring sanctuary concept”

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  First class Masters degree in Physical Sciences/ Mathematical Sciences / Geological Sciences / Geography/Environmental Sciences with Ph.D. degree. Or M. Tech in Civil/Environmental Engineering/Water Resource/ Hydrology/Geophysics/Ear th Sciences with 3 years experience.

Desirable :  Experience of working with hydrological instrumentation and GIS/Remote sensing software.

Emoluments :  Rs. 38000/- p.m. +HRA

Upper Age Limit :  35 Years

Junior Research/Project Fellow

Project Title  :   'Integrated Studies of Himalayan Cryosphere in Uttarakhand and Arunachal Pradesh'

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  1st Class Master Degree in Chemistry/Geology/ Earth Science/ Geography or relevant subject/B. Tech. in relevant brand of Engineering

Desirable :  Experience of working with GPS/GIS environment

Emoluments :  Rs. 25,000/- p.m. +HRA for NET JRF/GATE qualified or Rs. 16,000/- p.m. +HRA for others
