Name of the Project Scheme “Intellectual Property and Technology Management (IP & TM)” renamed as “National Agriculture Innovation Foundation (NAIF)”
Essential Qualification: Ph.D in any discipline of Agricultural/Life Sciences. Or Master degree/M.Tech in any branch of Agricultural Sciences/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ Molecular Biology with 4/5 years Bachelor's degree in the above subjects having First Division or 60 % marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least 2 years of research experience as evidence from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements. Or Three (03) years Bachelor degree and 2 years of Master degree in the above subjects having First Division or 60 % marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with NET and at least 2 years of research experience as evidence from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/ other engagements.
Desirable Qualification (i) Diploma in IPR/Two Year’s experience in IP management. Experience on patent search assessment, formulation, filing, drafting of patents/IPRs, development of feasibility report in commercialization of technologies, genomics and biological databases. (ii) Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Laws along with Protection and commercialization of technologies, work experience in Patent Search Operation and filing. (iii) Patent Agent. (iv) Proficiency in computer operation.
