Project Title : “Oligo-mediated genome engineering of Lactococcus lactis W8 to generate novel nisin peptides for use in food and health”
Research Associate
No. of Post : 01
Qualification: Candidates having PhD degree (awarded) or equivalent from recognized University in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or any other related field are eligible to apply. The candidate should have a good academic record and research experience as evidenced from published papers in internationally recognized journals. Candidates having research experience in the field of genomics/proteomics/functional foods and bioactive peptides will be preferred.
Salary : Rs 36,000/-
Project Assistant
No. of Post : 01
Qualification: Candidates having M.Sc. degree or equivalent (with minimum 55% marks) in Life Sciences /Biotechnology/Molecular Biology or any other related field are eligible to apply. Candidates having experience in conducting common microbiology and molecular biology techniques including PCR/RTPCR, recombinant DNA techniques will be preferred.
Salary : Rs25, 000/- +10% HRA for the 1st & 2nd year ; @ Rs 28,000/- +10% HRA for 3rd year (NET -qualified). For non-NET Project Assistant @ Rs 12,000/- + 10 % HRA for the 1st & 2nd year and SRF@ Rs 14,000/- + 10% HRA for the 3rd year
Age Limits: For Research Associate age should be below 40 years. For Project Assistant age should be below 28 years
Duration: Three years or till termination of the project whichever is earlier
