Name of the Project : Development of a selection methodology for Roadheader and Tunnel Boring Machine in different geological conditions for rapid tunnelling
Research Associate
Qualification : Candidate should have B.Tech./B.E. in Mining Engineering with M.Tech. in Mining Engineering / Mine Planning & Design/ Rock Excavation Engineering/ Tunnelling & Underground Space Technology/ Rock Mechanics or B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering with M.Tech. in Tunnelling & Underground Space Technology/Rock Mechanics or B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering with M.Tech in Machine Design/Manufacturing Engg./Production Engg. with minimum 60% marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale. Candidates with above- mentioned qualification alongwith Ph.D. or having 3 years of research/design and development experience are preferred. Candidates with NET/GATE qualification and prior experience in the relevant research such as CAD/CAM/CAE, Modelling/Simulation capability in Ansys/Abaqus/LS Dyna etc are preferred.

Project Assistant
Qualification : Candidate should have B.Tech./B.E. in Mining Engineering or B.Tech./B.E. in Civil Engineering or B.Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech. in Applied Geology with minimum 60% marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale. Candidates with NET/GATE qualification and prior experience in the relevant research.
Fellowship : Rs.16,000/-p.m.
Supporting Staff
Qualification : Candidate should have Diploma in Mining Engineering with minimum 60% marks or 6 CGPA on a 10 point scale. Candidates with prior experience in the relevant research area are preferable.
