Project on “Targeted Genome Editing for Regulating Tomato Fruit Ripening”
1. Research Associate/ 2 positions
Qualification : Applicants should have PhD degree in plant molecular biology or related area. The essential qualification for the first position is the research experience in tissue culture and plant transformation, raising, analyzing and propagating transgenic plants preferably in tomato. For Second position the person should have experience in cloning and biochemical phenotyping of plants. The experience should be supported by research publications.
Pay Scale : Rs. 36,000
2. Research Associate/1 position
Qualification : Applicants should have PhD degree in plant molecular biology. We are looking for a candidate who has extensive experience and molecular cloning. The experience should be supported by research publications.
Pay Scale : Rs. 40,000
3. Technical Assistant/ 1 position
Qualification : The candidates should have M.Sc. in Plant science or Biotechnology (Preferably CSIR/UGC-NET-LS qualified) with minimum two-year experience of crossing and backcrossing of plants, preferably in tomato, handling PCR based screening of plants and cataloging of mutant lines.
Pay Scale : Rs. 20,000
