Project: Establishment of BIOTECH KISAN HUB at ICAR-NBAIM, Mau
Research Associate-III/One Post
Qualification Essential: Ph.D. in Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Plant Pathology/Botany/Life Sciences
OR
Master's degree in the above subjects with Ist division (60%) marks) and TWO years of research experience as evident from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/other engagements (proof of experience is essential).
Desirable : Experience in lab and field work related to microbial products/composting/inoculant appliations as evident from publications
Project Duration: Two Years and/or Co- terminus with the project (2nd year extension based on performance review)
Age Limit: For Men: Max age 40 years For women: Max age 45 years
Emolument: Rs. 40000/- PM (plus HRA as admissible)
Project Assistant - II cum Field Worker/01 Post
Essential Qualifications: Graduate in Science/ Agricultural science subject
Desirable: One year working experience on the applications of microbial products/composting (Experience Certificate is essentially required)
Project Duration: Two Years and/or Co-terminus with the project (2nd year extension based on performance review)
Age Limit : Max age 28 years
Emolument: Rs. 15000/- PM consolidated

National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms (NBAIM) was established through a funded project sponsored by the Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture (Government of India) in the IX Plan in 2001 under the auspices of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). Initially, the bureau started functioning at Old NBPGR Building, New Delhi and then shifted to Kusmaur, Mau Nath Bhanjan, Uttar Pradesh on 1st June, 2004.The basic goal of the Bureau is to promote and coordinate systematic and scientific research in the area of agriculturally important microorganisms (AIMs) in order to improve the agricultural productivity.
