Minimum Educational Qualification : Ph.D. in Life Sciences / Biology. Candidates
who have submitted thesis may also apply.
Preference Candidates with strong
capabilities in setting up, managing and training students in C. elegans
culturing, microscopy, molecular biology and microinjections OR Candidates with
strong capabilities in setting up, managing and training students in yeast
culturing, microscopy, molecular biology will be preferred will be preferred.
Consolidated emolument :1.Rs. 36,000/- + 30% HRA per month
2. Candidates who
have submitted their thesis but not completed defense (i.e. candidates without a
provisional certificate of having qualified for the degree), will be designated
as SRF and paid Rs. 28,000 + 30% HRA till the time of submission of Provisional
Ph.D. certificate
