Associate Remote Sensing recruitment in Indian Agricultural Research Institute.
Project title: ICAR National Fellow Project on “Regional Root Zone Soil Moisture Mapping from Near-Surface Measurements for Supporting AgroAdvisories in Rainfed Agriculture”
Research Associate/1 Post
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Remote Sensing & GIS / Geomatics/ Geoinformatics/ Natural Resources Management/ Environment Science/ Geophysics / Atmospheric Sciences/Agricultural Sciences or Civil Engineering from a recognized university / Institution. Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET Qualification**. Experience / Knowledge of ArcGIS, Web Map server, Satellite Image analysis, and programming in R / IDL/ MatLab / Python
Pay Scale : Rs. 38,000/- (for Masters degree holders) + HRA Rs. 40,000/- (for Doctoral degree holder) with Ph.D.) + HRA
SRF/1 Post
Qualification: Post Graduate Degree (M.Sc. / M.Tech.) in Agricultural Physics/ Soil Science/ Agronomy/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Environmental Sciences/ Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university / institution. Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree (preferably B.Sc. Agriculture). Candidates having 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET Qualification**.
Pay Scale : Rs.25000
