Project Title :  'Geospatial Assessment of Mangrove's Species Discrimination in Indian Sundarbans, Their Health and its Effect on Environment And Climate Using Airborne Hyperspectral (Aviris Ng) And Risat-I Remote Sensing Data'

Qualification : Awarded/submitted Ph.D. in relevant subjects supported by quality publications along with M.Sc./M.Tech (55% Marks) in Remote Sensing & GIS. 

Research Experience : In the field of Remote Sensing application in mangroves and experience in handling hyper-spectral data

Fellowship : Rs. 36,000/38,000/40,000 + 30% HRA (RA I/RA II/RA III)

Age Limit : 35 years

Junior Research Fellow

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification : Master degree in Sciences with M.Tech/PG Diploma in RS& GIS. NET/GATE/SET qualified in Respective Science Disciplines preferred. In case candidates with NET/GATE/SET is not available or not found suitable. Candidates with working experience in mangrove forests and handling of multispeetral/ hyper-spectral satellite data analysis may be considered.

Fellowship : Rs. 25,000 p.m. +30% HRA (for NET-LS candidates) Rs. 16,000 p.m. +30% HRA (for non-NET candidates)

Age Limit: 28 years (Relaxable up to 5 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women candidates/experienced candidates)
