Research Associate OR Research Assistant* /1Post
Essential Qualification: (mere eligibility does not guarantee selection)
Research Associate: PhD - NET/SET qualified - in Environmental Studies/ Sociology/ Geography/ Environmental Economics with consistently good academic record (B+)
Research Assistant: NET/SET qualified in relevant social science discipline (as above) with consistently good academic record (B+)
Desirable Qualification: In either position, exposure to broad interdisciplinary research environment, extensive fieldwork and computational knowledge.
Fellowship: Rs.25,000/- (consolidated – for Research Associate) OR 20,000/- (consolidated – for Research Assistant)
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years, (Upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC; Female and Physically handicapped candidates).
Duration: initially for one year, likely to be extended for another year.
