Research Associate/Senior Research Fellow/Field Assistant Job Opportunity at National Agri-Food Biotechnology Institute (NABI)
Research Associate (RA)/02 Positions
Name of project: "Development of Bio-fortified and Protein-rich Wheat"
Essential qualification: PhD/ MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having three years of research, teaching and design and development experience after MVSc/M.Pharma/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) Journal.
Desired Experience: Experience in plant or agricultural biotechnology, classical breeding & molecular breeding, marker (SSR & SNP) development, QTL mapping, association mapping, gene introgression, genomics and functional genomics tools such as NGS data analysis and gene expression analysis, animal biotechnology or related field.
Emoluments: 47,000/- + 16%HRA
Senior Research Fellow (SRF)/01 Position
Essential qualification: Qualification prescribed for JRF with two years of research experience.
Desired Experience: Training in agricultural biotechnology, preferably in marker development, QTL mapping, Association mapping.
Emoluments: 35,000/-PM+16% HRA
Field Assistant/02 Positions
Essential qualification: Diploma in Agriculture or Intermediate or BSc in Biological Sciences or equivalent degree
Desired Experience: Field work
Emoluments: 18,000/-PM
Age: 40 years for RA, 32 years for SRF, and 28 years for JRF, 25 Years for Field Assistant. (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC/PD as per GOI instructions)
