Research Associate (One Post)
Emoluments (Fixed): Rs. 54,000 plus 24% HRA
Essential Qualification: PhD in Molecular Biology/ BioIechnology/ Bioinformatics. Master's degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years Of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/other engagements as circulated vide F.N0. 2-9/2012-HRD dated 25.04.2014
Desirable Qualification: Having working experience in Gene silencing study, RNAi technology, nanoormulations, proficiency in bioinformatics analysis and computer a lications.
Age Limit:
Age Limit for RA: 40 years for men and 45 years for female and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR rules.
Senior Research Fellow (One post)
Emoluments (Fixed): Rs. 31,000/- per month+ HRA- for l and 2 year & Rs, 35,000/- per month + HRA from 3rd year
Essential Qualification: MSc in Bioinformatics/ Molecular Biology Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the 0M SWS9/Z- 09/2012 of DST dated 21.10.2014 .
Desirable Qualification: Having experience in analyzing NGS data of insect whole genome transcriptome and small RNA Should able to sequence. work with high performance computing system in Linux based OS.
Age Limit: Maximum age limit for SRF: The age should be maximum 35 years for male and 40 years for female and age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/1CAR rules.
