Research Associate/SRF/JRF Life Sciences recruitment in Institute of Life Sciences (ILS), Bhubaneswar
Project: DBT funded project (03 years) on Minor Pulses. The activities involved are Genome sequencing, Genotype by sequence, Transcriptomics and Bioinformatics analysis.
Research Associate
Eligibility: Ph. D. in any branch of Life Sciences with expertise in the area of Genome analysis, NGS, Transcriptomics and Bioinformatics.
The candidates should have publications in reputed peer-reviewed journal in relevant area of expertise.
Fellowship: Rs. 36000/- per month + @20%HRA
SRF
Eligibility: Candidates must hold a post graduate degree with first class in biological sciences or allied subjects and at least two years of research experience.
Candidates with publication and experience in Genome analysis, NGS, Transcriptomics and Bioinformatics will be preferred.
Fellowship: Rs.28,000
Age Limit: The upper age limit of the candidate should be below 32 years
JRF
Eligibility: Candidates should have passed their M.Sc. / M.Tech. / M.Pharm./ M.V.Sc. or equivalent qualification in life sciences and allied subjects with minimum of 60% marks (or equivalent grade point). Candidates awaiting final results may also apply, however, if selected, they have to produce their final mark sheet at the date of joining. Candidates should have also qualified in CSIR/UGC-JRF or DBT-JRF or DBT-BINC-JRF or UGC-RGNF or ICMR-JRF or DST-INSPIRE or GATE or GPAT.
Fellowship: Rs.25,000/- per month+ @ 20% HRA
Age Limit: The candidate should be below 28 years in age, as on 31st October, 2018.
Selection will be carried out through application screening, followed by an interview process
