Research Associate/SRF/Semi-Skilled Labour Job Opportunity On Indian Institute of Maize Research
Project: NASF Project 'Long-term conservation agriculture impact on microbiome and soil health indicators for resource efficiency and resilience in maize systems'
Research Associate/01 Post
Qualification: Essential: Doctorate degree with thesis research in Agronomy/Soil Science/Agricultural Physics/ Agricultural Microbiology.
OR
Post graduate degree Agronomy/Soil Science/Agricultural Physics/ Agricultural Microbiology with specialization in Plant Biotechnology with 4 years/5 years of Bachelor degree having ln division or 60% marks or equivalent OGPA with at least 2 years of research experience as evidenced from fellowship/ associateship/ training/other engagements. Those with 3 years bachelor's degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent. (Refer ICAR memorandum: F.No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 13-07-15 and 09-10-15 for details)
Desirable: Experience in carbon quality, GHG measurement, soil fauna analytics and soil physical properties analysis and handling of the automatic CS analyzer, Gas Chromatograph, Cone Penetrometer, etc.
Age Limit: 40 years
Emoluments: Rs 40,000 + 30% HRA per month for Ph.D. Degree holders; Rs 38,000 + 30% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders
SRF/01 post
Qualification: Essential: M.Sc. in Entomology/ Zoology (with Entomology)/Life Sciences. The candidates with 3 years bachelor's Degree must have NET qualification or equivalent (As per ICAR memorandum F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/ HRD Dated 13.07.2015 and F. No. Agri. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD Dated 09.10.2015)
Desirable: Candidates with research experience in arthropod diversity/handling of insects, knowledge of molecular biology tools and data analysis.
Age Limit: 35 Years
Emoluments: Rs 25,000 + 30% HRA per month for first and second year; Rs 28,000 + 30% HRA per month for 3rd year
Semi-Skilled Labour/02 Post
Qualification: Essential: Matriculate (10th pass) from recognized board, Desirable: Having experience of the insect pest handling in maize or the field experimentation on conservation agriculture.
Emoluments: Rs 16000 per month fixed
