Agricultural Statistics Research Institute (IASRI) on purely contractual temporary basis.
Project “Integrated Sampling Methodology for Crop Yield Estimation using Remote Sensing, Field Surveys and Weather Parameters for Crop Insurance”
Research Associate/Senior Research Fellow/1 Post
For Research Associate: Ph.D. in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or equivalent. OR M.Sc/M.Tech/Post-Graduation in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics/ GIS or equivalent with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree. OR 3 years Bachelor’s degree with 3 years professional Master’s degree like M.Sc.(Ag), MCA. OR
Those with 3 years bachelor’s degree and 2 years Master’s degree must have UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET qualification or equivalent. Non-Ph.D. holders must have at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements. For Senior Research Fellow: Ph.D. in Remote Sensing / Geoinformatics or equivalent. OR

Pay Scale : For Research Associate: Consolidated Rs. 40000/- per month + 30% HRA for Ph.D holders and consolidated Rs. 38000/- per month + 30% HRA for Master Degree.
For Senior Research Fellow: Consolidated Rs. 25000/- per month + 30% HRA.

Age Limit
Research Associate: Age should not be more than 40 years for the post of Research Associate as on date of interview. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as on date of interview.
Senior Research Fellow: The upper age limit for SRF is 35 years for male and 40 years for female. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC is applicable as per Govt. of India/ICAR Rules.
Young Professional – II: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years (5 years relaxation for women, SC & ST and 3 years for OBC).
