Research Associate

Name of the Project :  Central Sector Scheme for PPV &FRA DUS Testing of Vegetable Crops

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification  :  Ph.D in Horticulture specialization in Vegetable / Vegetable Science/ Genetics and Plant  Breeding. OR   M. Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture Specialization in Vegetable Science/Genetics & Plant Breeding with 04 years/05 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associates ship/Training/Other engagement.

Desirable :  (i) Knowledge of Computer application (ii) Working experience in DUS Project.

Pay :  Rs. 38000/- p.m. + HRA for Master Degree and Rs.40000/- p.m. + HRA for Ph.D./Doctoral Degree as per rules.

Age Limit :  Not more than 40 years (Relaxable for SC/ST /OBC/PH/Women candidates as per rules).

Senior Research Fellow

Name of the Project :  'Development of shelf stable Intermediate Moisture Leafy Vegetables using  Radiation Processing' Project

Qualification  :  M.Sc. in Food Science and Technology or M.Sc. (Ag.) in Horticulture with 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average  with 4 years/5 years of Bachelors degree. Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years master's degree should have NET qualification.

Desirable : Experience in vegetable processing and management.   

Pay :  Rs. 25000/- p.m. fixed+ HRA for 1st and 2nct year and Rs. 28000 + HRA for 3rct year as per rules.

Age Limit  :  Not more than 35 years for Men and 40 years for Women (Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per rules).

Technical Assistant

Qualification  :  B.Sc.(Agriculture)/Horticulture

Desirable : M.Sc. (Ag.) Vegetable Science/Horticulture specialization in vegetable/Genetics and Plant Breeding. Knowledge of Computer and working experience on the vegetable crops.

Pay :  Rs. 15000/- p.m. Fixed

Age Limit :  Minimum 21 years and not more than 40 years, with relaxation as per rules.

Young Professionals - I
