Research Associate
Qualification: M.E/M.Tech in Plastic/Polymer Engineering Training in CIPET or similar institutions preferable.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36,000 per month
Technician
Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in Plastic/Polymer Engineering. Training in CIPET or similar institutions preferable.
Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000 per month
Necessary Skills: Knowledge of any CAD Modelling Software like SolidWorks, Fusion 360 etc. Mould Designing,General information regarding Medical Grade Silicone Rubber ,Hands-on experience in Plastic Moulding, Rubber Compression Moulding etc. Duration: One year. Extendable based on the performance/need basis.
Job Description: The candidate will be involved in a DST funded project related to design and fabrication of silicone based products. The candidate, in discussion with medical and engineering experts will replicate the sketched design of the prosthesis in CAD modelling software and will perform simulation and testing on it. In later stages, the prosthesis will be moulded/fabricated using compression moulding equipment.
