Qualification  : Ph.D. degree in Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Immunology/Animal Biotechnology/Veterinary Biochemistry/ Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology or in other relevant subjects OR Master’s degree in the relevant subject {(M.V.Sc in Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Immunology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Veterinary Biochemistry/ Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology or other relevant subjects); (M.Sc./M.Tech. in  Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/Zoology or other relevant subjects)}  with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with atleast two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship / Training/ other engagements. OR Master’s degree in  the relevant subject  (M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/ Zoology or other relevant subjects) with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and have qualified NET with atleast two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship / Training/ other engagements.

Emoluments:

(a) For Ph.D. degree holder: Rs. 40,000/- per month + HRA as per University norms

(b) For Master’s   degree holder: Rs. 38,000/- per month + HRA as per University norms

Upper Age Limit : 40 years for men; 45 years for women

Qualification  :  Master’s degree in the relevant subject {(M.V.Sc. in Veterinary Microbiology/Veterinary Immunology/ Animal Biotechnology/ Veterinary Biochemistry/ Veterinary Public Health & Epidemiology or other relevant subjects); (M.Sc./ M.Tech. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/ Zoology or other relevant subjects)} with 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average OR Master’s degree in Basic sciences/relevant  subject (M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/ Zoology or other relevant subjects) with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average and have qualified NET.

Emoluments : Rs. 25000/- per month + HRA as admissible for 1st and 2nd years and 28000/- per month + HRA as admissible for 3rd year as per University norms 

Upper Age Limit : 35 years for men; 40 years for women  (5 years relaxation for SC/ST/ women candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as on date of interview)
