Research Associate/Young Professional-II Job Opportunity in National Research Centre for Integrated Pest Management, Indian Council of Agricultural Research
Project: “National Innovations in Climate Resilient Agriculture”
Research Associate/01 post
Essential Qualifications:
(i) Ph.D. in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Agricultural Statistics/Agricultural Entomology
OR
(ii) Post graduation (M.Sc.,/M Tech. etc.,) in Computer Science/ Computer Applications/Agricultural Statistics/Agricultural Entomology
with 4 or 5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average, with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/Training/other engagements
OR
(iii) 3 years Bachelor's degree (B.Sc., .BCA etc) with 3 years professional Master's degree like MCA & M Tech etc., equivalent qualifications & having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average & with at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/Associateship/ Training/other engagements
OR
(iv) Candidates having Master’s degree in Basic Sciences (above relevant subjects) and have qualified NET and have at least 02 years research experience as evidenced from Fellowship/ Associateship/ Training/other engagements
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in data organization and proficiency in use of statistical softwares like R/SAS. Working knowledge with pest surveillance database Experience in development of android applications Published work, if any
Age limit: 40 years for Men and 45 years for Women
Remuneration: For RA with Ph.D (i): Rs. 40,000/- month + 30%HRA; RA with Master Degree Rs.38000/-=+ 30% HRA;
Young Professional-II/01 Post
Essential Qualifications: Masters in Plant Pathology/Agricultural Entomology/Computer Application/Statistics/Agricultural Statistics
Desirable Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture and life sciences; data organization, and proficiency in computer operations/ handling statistical software package.
Age limit: 21-45 years
Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated).
