Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Physical and Biophysical sciences or Scholars who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are yet to receive their Ph.D degree (provisional or otherwise).

Desirable Qualification :  Experience in Computational Chemistry involving kinetics/energetic dynamics. Experience in Lasers involved in Molecular Spectroscopy and Dynamics or Experimental biophysics.

 

Surface Physics & Material Science Division /1 Post

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Physical and Biophysical sciences or Scholars who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are yet to receive their Ph.D degree (provisional or otherwise).

Desirable Qualification : The candidate should have proven experiences in the field of surface and interface studies of low dimensional materials. The research activities should be substantiated by good publications in reputed international journals. The candidate has to utilise the available Divisional facilities of growth and characterisation for studying the properties of low dimensional materials (in the micro and nano length scale). Candidate should enclose a consolidated research plan using various facilities of the Division. Crystallography & Molecular Biology Division /1 Post

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Physical and Biophysical sciences or Scholars who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are yet to receive their Ph.D degree (provisional or otherwise).

Desirable Qualification : Candidates with fresh PhD having working experience in different biological aspects of proteins.

Nuclear Physics Division /1 Post

Desirable Qualification : The candidate should have experience in accelerator based low energy nuclear structure/reaction/astrophysics studies to participate fully in the installation, operation and developmental work related to the upcoming accelerator facility for Low Energy Nuclear Astrophysics studies (FRENA).

 

SINP Beamline/ 2 Post

Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Physical and Biophysical sciences or Scholars who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are yet to receive their Ph.D degree (provisional or otherwise).

Desirable Qualification : Material Science or related fields having experience in x-rays related material characterization will work in a capacity of Research Associate for a minimum period of one year for carrying out scientific responsibilities and to support users of the SINP Beamline. The candidate will be stationed at SINP Beamline at Indus-2 synchrotron radiation facility, RRCAT, Indore.

 

Age: Maximum 35 years

Associateship: (a) Rs.32, 000/- PM, for scholars who have submitted Ph.D. thesis and are yet to receive their Ph.D degree (provisional or otherwise) +HRA

(b) Rs. 36, 000/- PM for RA-1+HRA

(c) Rs 38,000/- PM for RA-2+HRA
