Research Associates / SRFs Computer Science job Position in Indian Agricultural Research Institute on temporary & contract basis

Projects “National Knowledge Management Centre for Agricultural Education and Research” under National Agricultural Higher Education Project (NAHEP) and 'DST-ICRISAT Centre of Excellence on Climate Change Research for Plant Protection: Pest and Disease Management for Climate Change Adaption'

Research Associate /1 Post

Qualification: Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Information Science or equivalent OR Master degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Information Sciences / MCA or equivalent with atleast two years research experience. Master degree holders should have completed 4 or 5 years Bachelor degree in relevant subject. Those with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree should have NET* qualification or equivalent certificate.

Desirable: Work experience in data mining techniques special emphasis on text mining and candidate should have experience in digital library content handling.

Pay Scale : Rs. 40000/-+ HRA as admissible for Ph.D. Degree holders; Rs. 38000/-+ HRA as admissible for Post Graduate Degree holders.

Senior Research Fellow /2 Posts

Qualification: Master degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Information Security / Information Sciences / MCA or equivalent Master degree from a recognized university. Master degree holders should have completed 4 or 5 years Bachelor degree in relevant subject. Those with 3 years of Bachelor’s degree should have NET* qualification or equivalent certificate.

Desirable: Work experience in data mining techniques special emphasis on text mining and candidate should have experience in open sources software such as DSpace / KOHA etc. in digitization and content management of library system.

Pay Scale : Rs. 25000/- month + HRA as admissible
