Job Description
Summary & Scope of Position:
Vivarium maintenance and documentation and ability to get trained to carry out scientific experiments in the Vivarium.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ability to get trained in to carry out experiments for evaluating compounds in mice/rats.
- Documentation of all animal house activities related to CPCSEA requirements
- Vivarium maintenance responsibilities - breeding and care of animals
- Maintenance and protection of intellectual property (Research schemes, journals, analytical data, material/product safety data sheets etc).
- High-quality scientific reading/writing.
Qualifications/Requirements/Skills:
- Masters in Veterinary Science with 2 plus years of relevant, hands-on ;
- Ability to work independently and flexibly and to adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience in animal care and maintenance
- Excellent Oral and Written communication skills.
