Job Description
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Ensure that the monitoring methodology and protocol are adhered to on-site
2. Ensure that the proper monitoring conditions are set-up in the test flats before the start of monitoring (for example, the requirement of electrical power, ceiling fans, etc.)
3. Coordinate with the project site supervisors when required
4. Handle the daily download of data, analyze the data and highlight any red flags
5. Maintain the daily operating schedules during monitoring (for example, window operation, manual logging of surface temperatures, etc.)
6. Work on data compilation
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 11th Mar'21 and 15th Apr'21
3. are available for duration of 1 month
4. are from Chennai and neighboring cities
5. have relevant skills and interests
1. Recent post-graduates or students pursuing post-graduate studies, in the domain of architecture, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, energy engineering can apply
2. Must have an evident interest in sustainable and energy-efficient buildings
3. Must be enthusiastic about field-work, have good people skills, and have quick, practical on-site problem-solving abilities
4. Must be fluent in Tamil
5. Should have a means of travel and your own laptop
6. Final year undergraduate students in architecture and engineering may be considered, based on their ability and interest
The monitoring duration will be 1st to 30th April 2021.
The internship will be from 25th March to 30th April 2021.
Certificate: Will be provided at the end of the Internship
