Research Interns
Research Title : National Research Study on Human Trafficking in India
Eligibility : a. Anyone with a Post Graduate degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Law, Public Policy, or Human Rights. Candidates pursuing Post Graduation may also apply. b. Candidates having prior experience of primary data collection and basic conceptual understanding of human trafficking will be preferred. c. Working knowledge in MS office and MS Excel. d. Knowledge of research methods and techniques. e. Team work and Communication skills f. Documentation skills. g. Willingness to travel in remote parts/ conflict zones/ villages of India for primary data collection and conduction of the study.
Costs and Remunerations
Training Phase: The expenses during the training phase have to be incurred by the Research Interns. Accommodation can be provided by the project based on availability in the TISS campuses but no guarantee can be provided for the same.
Field Work Phase : All the travel, food and accommodation expenses of the interns will be provided by the project.
Duration : Minimum Two months (Can be extended)
Job location : Partly in Mumbai and field work in a different state (to be decided)
