Job Description
Designation: Research
Responsibilities include:
1. Working on assembly integration and testing of high-pressure tubing and pressure vessels
2. Working on manufacturing, assembly integration, and testing a small rocket engine and thrust stand
3. Studying blueprints and planning pipe systems and related equipment installations
4. Assembling and welding pipe components and systems
5. Assembling components as per assembly drawings, and any additional specifications provided by the engineering team
6. Conducting a quality inspection of manufactured parts
7. Managing the inventory, restocking, maintenance, and repair of components
Qualifications and experience required:
1. Knowledge and experience in basic manufacturing
2. Basic knowledge of fluid mechanics and heat transfer
3. Ability to carry out assemblies as per drawing & process sheet
4. Knowledge of fits & tolerances given on drawing
5. Knowledge of measuring instruments (Tape, Vernier, Micrometer, Height gauge, Filler gauge, etc.) will be an added advantage
6. Knowledge and experience in 3D model software like SolidWorks
