National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) invites application for the position Research Officer

No. of Post: 01

Consolidated Salary: Rs.64,000/- per month

Essential Qualification:

a. Candidates should possess 1st Class Master Degree in life sciences(Microbiology/bioIogy/ physiology/zoology/health sciences) from a recognized university with 2 years experience OR

b. 2nd class Master's degree with PhD in relevant subjects from a recognized university OR

c. BDS/B.V.Sc degree with one year experience

Desirable Qualifications:

a. Minimum 2 year experience of having worked in a public health program is mandatory

b. Proficiency in English Knowledge of computer application with experience in statistical packages like SPSS

c. Experience of having worked in HIV/ AIDS program is desirable

d. Experience in conducting and monitoring large scale field surveys

Job Responsibility:

a. Monitoring and supervision of field work Capacity to undertake extensive travel in study area Training , monitoring quality of site level implementation

b. Data compilation, data validation, data analysis and report preparation Any other task assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Age Limit: 35 yrs
