No. Of Positions: Three
Location: Mumbai
Eligibility Criteria: Candidates having masters in social science and law with adequate knowledge in the field of forest rights and governance can send their application.
Job Description:
- The selected candidates are required to carry out independent research and policy advocacy work on Forest Rights and Governance in India.
- Broadly, the position requires the research officers to- (1) analyse the policy and institutional challenges in the implementation of Forest Rights Act, (2) critically examine the livelihood and governance implications of communit forest rights.
- The selected candidates are expected to do intensive field work and discussion with government officers as per the requirement of the project position.
Salary Amount: Between Rs. 25,000-30,000 per month (Negotiable)
Tenure: Three Months (December 2020-February 2021) and extendable for another nine months
