1.Research Scientist (to be posted at Regional Centre Belgaum, Kakinada, Bhopal, Patna and Guwahati)/ 05 Posts
Essential :M.E./M.Tech. in (Water Resources/Hydrology/Soil and Water Conservation Engg., Agriculture Engg., Earth Science and Geo-informatics) with 3years’experience/Ph.D.(Sc./Engg.) with uniformly outstanding academic record and proven ability for high quality R&D work.
Desirable Preference will be given to the candidates having working experience in Water Resources.
Age: 40 years
Pay Scale : Rs. 56,100 to 67,300
Resource Person (Junior) For NIH, Roorkee /01 Post
Essential: i) Professionals having Masters Degree in (Water Resources/Hydrology/Soil and Water Conservation Engg., Earth Science and Geo-informatics or equivalent in relevant field/subject). Persons with higher/additional qualifications, research experience, published papers and post qualification experience in the related field would be preferred)
Pay Scale: Rs. 20,000/- to Rs.40,000/- depending upon educational qualification and experience.
2.Junior Research Fellow/ 01Post
Essential: Post Graduate Degree in basic sciences (Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Geology, Environmental Sciences) OR M.Tech./M.E. in Civil Engineering, Earth Science Engineering with NET/GATE qualification.
Pay Scale: Rs. 25,000
3.Research Associate /01 Post
Essential :Ph.D. degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnol ogy/Microbiology/Environmental Sciences with NET qualification or M.E./M. Tech. having 3 years of research experience, with at least one research paper in Science Citation indexed (SCI) journal.
Pay Scale: Rs. 36,000/- + HRA ( as Admissible)
Junior Research Fellow/ 01 Post
Essential : Post Graduate Degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnol ogy/Microbiology/Environmental Sciences/Engineering with NET/GATE qualification
Pay Scale: Rs.25,000/-p.m. + HRA (as admissible)
Note: In case a candidate is not qualified GATE/NET then the emolument per month Rs. 12,000/-+HRA for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) may be considered.
Age: Maximum Age below 40 years for Research Scientist and 35 years for Research Associate/Junior Research Fellow, on the date of interview.
