- Graduate in any discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in as a Retail Sales Associate in a major retail chain (good if worked as a team leader/aisle manager or equivalent) across any industry
- Excellent customer service skills and selling skills
- Strong at communication: both verbal and written in English and Tamil
- Interested and motivated to work with underprivileged youth
- Someone who enjoys teaching or training as a field. You will play a key role in being the support system to our students at the Bluechip National Skills Development and empower them to achieve their potential.
At The/ Bluechip National Skills Development, you will...
- Work closely with our students (aged 18 - 30) build a strong rapport
- Deliver the Retail Sales Associate training curriculum in classroom
- Motivate and mentor the students about the profession through effective training
- Conduct classroom and practical assessments for the students, evaluate their performance
- Collate and interpret the data and plan remedial classes accordingly
- Collate and share feedback about the curriculum and content
You need to come with...
- Good knowledge of retail industry, merchandising, POS
- High energy and enthusiasm
- Strong people skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- A strong desire to make a difference by working in the not- for- profit sector
It would be awesome if you also have...
- Training experience – proficient in training methodologies used in a retail training, and soft skills (communication skills, critical thinking, time management, team building, etc.)
- A background in teaching/ coaching young adults.
- Worked in a skill development setup before
- Professional counselings experience
