Job description for Restaurant manager
- 1. Responsible for overall smooth running of operation
- 2. Responsible for maintaining restaurant timing
- 3. Responsible for cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant
- 4. Responsible for cash tally while closing
- 5. Responsible for customer satisfaction and in handling customer complaints
- 6. To ensure that service standards and food quality are followed
- 7. To taste all products before serving to customers.
- 8. To ensure all menu products are available during working hours
- 9. Responsible for maintaining proper legal documents in the restaurant
- 10. Deposit the cash amount from sales to Bank thrice a week
- 11. Reporting to MD on daily basis.
- 12. To ensure staff follow standard plating of food products
- 13. To check on portion size and shapes of food products
- 14. To ensure all raw materials are available at all time
- 15. Dry store in charge and to ensure proper issue procedure is followed
- 16. Responsible for inventory and forecasting
- 17. Ensure that all equipments are in working condition at all times
- 18. Responsible for staff training once a week
- 19. Briefing of staff and debriefing when needed.
- 20. To train staff regularly on customer and staff safety
- 21. Responsible for staff motivation
- 22. Emphasize on team work among staff
- 23. Responsible for staff recruitment, training and appraisal
- 24. Responsible for uniform issue and maintenance
- 25. Responsible preparing staff duty roaster
- 26. Responsible for staff salary and advances
- 27. Responsible for safety, hygiene and grooming of staff
- 28. To ensure proper garbage disposable system is followed
- 29. In charge for repair and maintenance
- 30. Responsible for regular pest control
- 31. To fix and maintain supplier contracts
- 32. Responsible for the weekly payments to the all suppliers.
- 33. To ensure that vendors deliver good quality and perfect quantity of raw materials.
- 34. To give ideas and implement business promotions
- 35. To ensure water is available at all time
- 36. Responsible for controlling costs in different areas
- 37. Responsible for reducing the food costs and waste management.
- 38. To ensure checklists are followed in different areas
