Job Description

To develop Vendor base in different categories viz., Sports, Home Appliances, IT - Electronics, Gadgets, Books, etc.
Should be open to look into other categories as well, which will provide the candidate the opportunity to learn and grow.
To source for new Vendors.
Maintain good relationship with Suppliers, meeting them as and when needed.
Look for continuous improvement in Supplier relationship.
Maintain databases for Vendor -Product Combination & all other related & applicable databases.
Price negotiations with the Vendors.
To prepare weekly/fortnightly/monthly reports as per the Organization's requirement.
Ensure that the ordered Product is available with the Vendors.
Be proactive, anticipate &escalate issues on time.
Should be open to look into other categories as well, which will provide the candidate the opportunity to learn and grow.

Desired Candidate Profile.

Should have 2-3years of prior experience in procurement ideally in an E-Commerce industry.
Should be energetic, hardworking and loyal.
Should be fully dedicated towards his work & has to be a team player.
Should work for achieving targets as per his domain.
Should possess good communication skills.
Should possess good knowledge of MS office, especially Excel.
