Junior Research Fellow Job Position in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT)
Project Title : On the Study of Information Theoretic Measures for Doubly Truncated Random Variables
Qualification : First Class M.Sc. (at least 60% or 6.5 CPI or equivalent) in Statistics or Applied Mathematics with valid GATE/NET etc. Applicants from Applied Mathematics must have strong background in statistics.
Fellowship : As per NBHM norms. Monthly Rs. 25,000/- for the first two years and Rs. 28,000/- in the third year.

The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG), Government of India set up The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) at Jais, Dist. Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh through an Act of Parliament (“Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology Act 2007"). RGIPT has been accorded the eminence of being an “ Institute of National Importance” along the lines of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT).
