Job Description
- Operate and maintain the Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce optimum quality, potable water
- Maintain the treatment plant systems
- Maintain and operate the filtering and chemical treatment processes
- Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, heat exchangers and valves
- Ensure an adequate supply of water for human consumption and fire fighting activities
- Prepare work orders for servicing and repairs
- Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
- Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant
- Establish a preventative maintenance program
- Maintain the general administration of the water system in order to ensure effective operations
- Establish preventative maintenance schedules
- Administer water distribution contracts
- Keep a daily log
- Prepare activity and work order reports
- Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment
- Maintain inventories
- Provide reports to Site Manager, BU as required
- Ensure records are maintained

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, a Deemed to be University was granted this status by the University Grants Commission in 2005. It has been reaccredited with the Grade A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of five years in March 2013.Thereafter, it was ncluded in the elite Category A by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India amongst the Deemed Universities in the month of May 2013. The University is also the recipient of the Dr. B.C. Roy Award for Research.
The constituents of the Deemed University are located in a 125 acre campus in Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India which is the geographic centre of India.
