RO Technician
Job Description
- Operate and maintain the Reverse Osmosis Plant to produce optimum quality, potable water
- Maintain the treatment plant systems
- Maintain and operate the filtering and chemical treatment processes
- Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, heat exchangers and valves
- Ensure an adequate supply of water for human consumption and fire fighting activities
- Prepare work orders for servicing and repairs
- Inspect the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
- Conduct regular inspections of the physical plant
- Establish a preventative maintenance program
- Maintain the general administration of the water system in order to ensure effective operations
- Establish preventative maintenance schedules
- Administer water distribution contracts
- Keep a daily log
- Prepare activity and work order reports
- Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment
- Maintain inventories
- Provide reports to Site Manager, BU as required
- Ensure records are maintained

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, a Deemed to be University was granted this status by the University Grants Commission in 2005. It has been reaccredited with the Grade A grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) for a period of five years in March 2013.Thereafter, it was ncluded in the elite Category A by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India amongst the Deemed Universities in the month of May 2013. The constituents of the Deemed University are located in a 125 acre campus in Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha about 80 kms from Nagpur, Maharashtra, India which is the geographic centre of India.
