Multi Taking Staff (MTS) recruitment in SAARC Disaster Management Centre
Essential Qualification: Class 10th passed or equivalent.
Desirable: Preference to candidates with work experience as MTS and /or despatch. Good communication skill. Work experience will be an added advantage.

Age Limit: 40 years
Scope of Work/Terms of Reference: Assisting the Director, Sr. Consultants, Consultants, Jr. Consultants, Administrative Officer, Accounts Officer and all other staff, with collection, distribution of mail .Maintain in and out mail register, despatch of mail to all local authorities including embassies, host country etc. Assist in protocol duties as and when required/originated. Assisting in maintenance of equipments, vehicle, car hiring, maintenance of log book etc . Xeroxing/duplicating work of the centre. Submission and collection of VISA, passport, travel authorizations, political clearances etc as and when required. Any other tasks as assigned by Director from time to time.

SAARC Disaster Management Centre (SDMC) was set up in October 2006 at the premises of National Institute of Disaster Management in New Delhi. The Centre has the mandate to serve eight Member Countries of South Asia Association of Regional Cooperation (SAARC) - Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka - by providing policy advice and facilitating capacity building services including strategic learning, research, training, system development and exchange of information for effective disaster risk reduction and management in South Asia.
