Specialist /Jr. Staff Nurse Trainee / Jr. Technician Trainee recruitment in SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant

1.Specialist, ME-3 (1-Paediatrics, 1-Radiology, 1-ENT)

Qualification:  MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in relevant discipline from a university/Institute recognized by MCI. and with at least 3 yrs. Post qualification experience in a recognised Medical College / Hospital / Institution.

Upper Age Limit (As on 04/04/2016): For Posts at Sl 1 (ME3) : 37 Yrs

Pay Scale : Rs. 32900-58000

3. Jr. Staff Nurse Trainee - S-3*/15 Posts

Qualification: Full time BSc.(Nursing) (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) from an Institution recognized by Nursing Council of India / Full time Diploma of 3 years duration in General Nursing and Midwifery with 50% marks from a Govt. recognized Institution after Intermediate or 10+2 science, and valid registration in Nursing Council of India /State nursing council; and with at least 1 year post qualification experience in a Hospital/Nursing home.

4. Jr. Technician Trainee (Medical Lab) – S-3*/2 Posts

Qualification: Full time B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology) (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates)from a Govt. Recognized Institute or 10+2 in science with full time diploma of minimum 2 years in Medical Lab Technology with 50% marks from Govt. recognized Institute and with at least 1 yr post qualification experience in a Hospital/Nursing Home.

5. Jr. Pharmacist Trainee – S-3*/8 Posts

Qualification: Full time Degree in Pharmacy (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) or 10+2 (Science) with Full time Diploma in Pharmacy (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates)of minimum 2 years duration and registered with Pharmacy council of India/State Pharmacy council and with at least 1 yr post qualification experience in a Hospital/Nursing Home.

6. Jr. Technician Trainee – (Radiography) - S-3*/2 Posts

Qualification: Full time B.Sc. (Radiography) (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) from Govt. recognized institute or 10+2 in science with full time Diploma (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) of minimum 2 years duration in Radiography; and with at least 1 year post qualification experience of Radiography in a Hospital/Nursing home.

7. Jr. Dietician Trainee – S-3* /1 Post


Qualification: 3 year’s full time B.Sc. (Nutrition & Dietetics) (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) from a Govt. recognized institute; and with at least 01 year post qualification experience in Nutrition & Dietetics, from a recognized Medical College/Hospital/Institution.

8. Jr. Technician Trainee (OT)  S-3*/5 Posts

Qualification: Full time B.Sc. Operation Theatre Technology (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) or 10+2 (Science) with two yrs. Full time Diploma course in OT Technology (with 50% marks for GEN/OBC & 40% marks for SC/ST/PWD/Departmental candidates) from a Govt. recognized institute and with at least 1 yr. post qualification experience in a recognized Medical College/Hospital/Nursing Home.

Upper Age Limit (As on 04/04/2016): 28 yrs.

Pay Scale (S3 Regular Grade): Rs. 16800-24110

Selection Procedure: Eligible candidates for the post at Sl 1 will be called for Interview. Eligible candidates for post at SL. 3 to 8 will be required to appear in Written Examination

Training & Probation: Candidates selected at post Sl. 3 to 8 will be placed on training for a period of 2 Years which may be extended by another two years as per requirement. On successful completion of training period, they shall be regularized in S-3 Grade. After successful completion of Training, Candidates shall be placed under probation for 1 year.

Application Fee: Provision to pay application fee for the post at sl 1 of Rs.500/- (Non-refundable) for OBC Candidates,  sl 3 to 8 of Rs. 250/- (Non-refundable) for General & OBC Candidates. Candidates can opt to pay through internet banking account or credit card / debit card / cash at SBI branch, through SB collect. SC/ST/PwD/ESM/Departmental candidates are exempted from payment of Application fees.
