Job Description

  • Please read as He or She
  • Shall be reporting to the Account Manager on daily basis for all kinds of operational/ technical related issues and also update/ report the progress of the AMCs servicing/ Breakdown Servicing/ Project Status on daily/ weekly/ monthly basis, as required.
  • should always maintain punctuality while reporting to work (office & Sites) & ensure the same from his subordinates.
  • Shall prepare a manpower planning & manpower deployment report on daily basis & submit it to the Account Manager
  • Shall be responsible for preparing &sending the monthly billing forecast (based on the work in hand, WIP etc.) of the next month by the last day of the current month, in coordination of  service coordinator to the Account Manager
  • Shall closely monitor, follow & ensure that the service billing for every month is done as per the forecast, without any deviation, by the 24th or any other date as decided by the management.
  • shall be wholly responsible for the projects assigned to him, from start to finish, i.e., till the proper handing over of the projects & timely submission of bill for payment.
  • shall be responsible for the planning the execution of the project in all aspects viz, project planning; material follow up; proper execution maintaining high standards of quality; timely completion; client relationship; feed back etc.
  • shall be responsible for the planning & execution of the Preventive Maintenance servicing of all the AMCs, in timely fashion as per the schedule (Monthly, Bi-monthly, Quarterly etc.).
  • shall be responsible for the preparation of the project/ PM schedule as per the requirement of the client as well as the feasibility of the execution.
  • should ensure that the project/ PM schedule is practical, realistic and at the same time optimize the usage of the resources to the maximum.
  • should ensure that the project/ PM schedule thus prepared is approved by the RM-Service, before it is implemented.
  • should ensure that the project/ PM schedule is intimated to the client as well as the service team, and it is followed meticulously.
  • shall ensure that a communication is sent to the client, along with the scanned copy of service report, the next working day after the Preventive Maintenance.
  • Shall ensure that the AMC spares for the Comprehensive AMCs are procured & available at the stores always during the contract period.
  • should monitor the AMC spares status every fortnight & ensure that they are replenished within the shortest possible time.
  • shall be responsible for monitoring & supervising the work done by the service technicians.
  • shall ensure that the service engineers/ service technicians working under him are knowledgeable (properly trained) & perform their job well as per the requirement.
  • shall assist the service team, if required, while they attend the AMC Service/ Warranty/ Break down calls etc.
  • shall meet the clients at regular intervals to take a feedback & understand the levels of service rendered by the team vis-a-vis client's requirement.
  • shall suggest suitable remedial measures based on the customer feedback to improve the service levels & enhance the customer satisfaction, under the guidance of the Account Manager
  • Shall be responsible for maintaining & submitting (MIS) WIP/ Completion forecast of the Projects/ AMCs at periodic intervals (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, etc.), as required by the management.
  • shall be responsible for maintaining the documentation of all the jobs of the service department (service reports,   project completion/ handover/ commissioning reports etc.) in an efficient & transparent manner.
  • shall be responsible for coordinating with the projects team and the take over the new projects as and when they are completed or when the warranty comes into force.
  • Shall conduct team meetings on a weekly basis to review the status of the service jobs, & send the MoM & status report to the Account Manager within 24 hours.
  • shall give regular & proper feedback on all the incidents/ happenings at sites as well as office and suggest suitable improvements to the RM-Service.
  • should ensure that he as well as his team is dressed appropriately during working hours and always while visiting clients.
  • should be willing to accept & perform any other responsibility, if assigned to him by management, in addition to the above.
