- The consultant welcomes the prospective buyer to the lot and engages them in friendly conversation to determine the buyer's needs and interests.
- Whether the buyer is just browsing or they have an idea of what they want, the sales consultant helps them by showing the available cars, explaining their features, answering any questions the buyer may have, and helping them come to a decision.
- If the buyer decides to purchase a vehicle, the sales consultant may assist in closing the sale on their own.
